Teachers IFA is a trading style of Laurel Court Assocites Ltd. which was formed in August 2000, when the two directors, Alan Bowers & Mark Jones merged their companies. Having a combined experience in financial services of over 40 years, the directors prior to becoming Independent Financial Advisers, were both Sales Managers for Colonial (formally Colonial Mutual). Colonial were for many years the recognised providers of financial advice for the NASUWT teachers union.

We have conducted numerous seminars in schools and hundreds of private consultations at our clients homes and our offices, explaining the benefits (and shortfalls) of the Teachers Superannuation Scheme. This, then provides teachers with sufficient knowledge to make informed choices in respect of their financial planning requirements.

This experience has been handed down to our staff, who are now highly trained specialists.They are constantly improving methods of their work and whose knowledge is
verified by the corresponding certificates of expertise in their field.
